Dominique Ferret tog redan i unga \u00e5r \u00f6ver f\u00f6rvaltningen fr\u00e5n sin farfar och best\u00e4mde sig f\u00f6r att \u00e4ndra riktning n\u00e4r de valde att g\u00f6ra h\u00f6gkvalitativa vita viner fr\u00e5n att tidigare odlat druvor f\u00f6r armanac. Dessa vita viner marknadsf\u00f6rs som C\u00f4tes de Gascogne, som nu har en skyddad geografisk status.<\/p>\n
F\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra detta gjorde Dominique helt om de befintliga 49 hektaren, ut\u00f6kade odlingsarealen och renoverade vink\u00e4llaren. Detta omfattande arbete tog mer \u00e4n 10 \u00e5r.<\/p>\n
Idag har ving\u00e5rden ca 309 tunnland efter flera f\u00f6rv\u00e4rv. Marken h\u00e4r \u00e4r typisk f\u00f6r Gascon med lerig mark p\u00e5 en kalkstenb\u00e4dd samtidigt som ett milt maritimt klimat hj\u00e4lper druvorna att n\u00e5 en bra mognad .<\/p>\n
Druvsorterna \u00e4r \u00f6verv\u00e4gande vita, delvis de som anv\u00e4ndes tidigare f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra armagnac: Colombard, Ugni Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Gros Manseng och Petit Manseng utg\u00f6r 80% av vinstockarna.
